Transfer Conveyors
The Blodgett Company created a package transfer conveyor to transfer finished packages from under the guards on the packaging machines up to table height. The system is constructed from 304 stainless steel with a urethane conveyor belt for easy cleaning if spills on the belt should occur. Its conveying speed variable is up to 75′ per minute for high-speed packaging, and the transfer conveyor is caster mounted for mobility on the production floor.
Collection Tables
This powered package collection turntable system features 304 polished stainless steel 36″ or 48” diameter tables that turn at six RPM to equally distribute packages on the table. This allows the accumulation of packages on the table to assist the packing person with packing packages into master cartons. Our collection tables feature a stainless steel frame with TEFC gearhead motors for long, trouble-free operation.
Weigh Platforms
The Blodgett Company also has optional weigh platforms available. Our weight platforms are constructed of heavy-duty 304 stainless steel with 4″ square tubing for solid weigher support. They also feature stainless steel guard rails, entry staircases, and aluminum diamond plates to walk around the weigher and easily and safely access the weigher for cleaning and maintenance.
Bucket Elevators
The Blodgett Company has infeed bucket elevators available. They feature 304 stainless steel construction with food-grade buckets available in 1.5 L and 4.0 L bucket capacities. The variable speed elevators drive to provide gentle handling of your most fragile products. We also have a stainless steel vibrator feed available to evenly load each bucket as the elevator is commanded to fill the packaging system. The bucket elevator features hinged access doors to protect operators from contact with moving parts when the system is running. They are available in three standard discharge heights from 8′ discharge to 14′ discharge heights.
